Offering 1,147 hectares of terrain with 105km of marked runs, 16 lifts, and 118 designated trails, Big White certainly lives up to it's name!
The resort offers a wide variety of terrain to suit all abilities. The terrain breakdown covers 18% beginner, 54% intermediate, 22% advanced and 6% expert. The longest run is an enticing 7.2km which runs from the top of the T-Bar to Bottom of Gem Lake. Big White also boasts Western Canada's largest night skiing area with an impressive 38 acres on offer.

Big White is a great resort for families as it offers a dedicated beginners' area, and easy to access accommodation which are mostly ski in-out. Complete novices can ride the magic carpet at Happy Valley with the peace of mind that this area does not attract the more advanced skiers/riders. Most chair lifts also offer green runs to allow more confident beginners further areas to explore.

The resort is also renowned for their snow quality. On average, Big White receives 7.5 metres of snowfall annually. The resort tends to receive consistent regular snowfalls, rather than the occasional big dump.

Big White also boasts a large terrain park, with a variation of different sized jumps, boxes and rails to suit different abilities.
