WHY Nozawa Onsen FOR Schools

Nozawa Onsen is one of the most traditional and charming villages, offering a real Japanese experience. Streets are cobblestoned and windy with lots of natural hot springs (Onsens) around the village. Nozawa is undoubtedly the prettiest and most quaint of the Japanese ski resorts.

As this is a very traditional village, most accommodation options offer traditional ryokan accommodation which consists of shared bathrooms, and Japanese futon bedding on tatami mat flooring.

Nozawa Onsen consists of one large ski resort. The terrain and snow conditions are varied and suit all ranges from beginners to experts.

Based in the Nagano prefecture, this resort is easily accessible from Tokyo via coach transfer, or bullet train to nearby Iiyama Station.
