The small resort of Shizukuishi is located in the Iwate prefecture, in northern Honshu. Despite being small, there is plenty on offer at this resort with amazing powder snow, terrain for beginners through to advanced, night skiing and a kids snow land. While only 20% of terrain here is advanced, Shizukuishi offers some of the most affordable CAT Skiing in the country while being close to other amazing resorts in the area. Like many of the Japanese resorts there is no village, all facilities are within the ski-in ski-out Shizukuishi Prince Hotel. For more information on Shizukuishi click here.
