NEW SNOW SHOW FOR THE NORTH

The event, titled “Northern Snow,” offers free entrance to the general public.

Organizers promise the show will “showcase the finest selection of snowsports and lifestyle brands against the backdrop of real snow on the UK’s longest indoor slope.”

At Northern Snow, visitors can:

  • Test equipment from leading brands
  • Enjoy discounted Ski and Snowboard Lift Passes
  • Start with discounted Group Ski and Snowboard Lessons
  • Experience discounted Family Snow Fun activities in the Snow Park
  • Attend talks led by industry professionals
  • Interact with and get great deals from top Snowsports brands

“We are incredibly excited to introduce Northern Snow to the North of England,” said Ian Brown, Managing Director of Chill Factore and The Snow Centre in Hemel Hempstead.

The Snow Centre took over managing Chill Factore in 2021.

“Snowsports have a huge following in the North of the UK, just ask any of our passionate Chill Factore guests,” said John Robinson, Head of Marketing for Chill Factore and The Snow Centre.

“When we heard there would only be one Snow Show in London in 2024, we decided to ensure the rest of the country had the opportunity to get their winter sports fix.

“We’re creating something new here, building a community of enthusiasts and a network of dedicated brands.

“It won’t be the biggest UK show this year, but we believe it will be the best. Something new, exciting, and a bit special for guests and dedicated Snowsports brands alike.”

Brands and organizations already involved include Crystal Ski Holidays, Snow+Rock, BASI, DSUK, and Snow Camp.

Manchester previously hosted a Ski Show run by Telegraph Events, which also managed the London Ski & Snowboard Show at Earl’s Court. This show started in 2013 but was short-lived.

Birmingham has also seen ski shows organized by various companies, the most recent being the National Snow Show run by Racoon Media Group, which started in 2021. However, the National Snow Show has been discontinued as Racoon Media Group now focuses on its London show at the ExCel Centre, which began last year.

This shift has created an opportunity for a new show in the North.
